Using this website

The content on this website is provided for information. We keep it accurate and current, and where something is a plan rather than a fact this site says so — the animal sanctuary and the veterans program described here are in planning and are not operating.

Bookings

Submitting a request through this website is not a confirmed booking. A booking exists once we have confirmed availability and terms in writing.

Rates, minimum durations, travel and cancellation terms are confirmed with each booking before it is accepted.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell us as early as you can. Cancellation terms for a confirmed booking are those set out in the written confirmation for that booking.

Interpreting, and its limits

An interpreter carries what is said between two languages. An interpreter does not give legal, medical, financial or immigration advice, does not act as a party’s representative, and is not responsible for decisions made in an appointment.

Certain proceedings require an interpreter holding a specific certification. Where that applies it is your responsibility to tell us, and ours to tell you if we cannot meet it.

Confidentiality

Everything disclosed in the course of an appointment is treated as confidential. Where your organization requires a separate confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement, send it with the booking.

Volunteering and placements

Information on this website about volunteering, fostering, externships and hours describes what is intended once the sanctuary is operating. It is not an offer of a placement, of employment, or of hours toward any credential.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Global Linguistic Services is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.
