The sanctuary is not open yet, so the most useful thing anyone can do right now is raise a hand and let us know what they have.

What Actually
Helps
In rough order of how much difference it makes in the first year.
Foster
The single most useful thing, and the thing we will need before there is any land at all. A rescue with foster homes can say yes to an animal today. Without them it cannot.
Volunteer
Walking, feeding, cleaning, transport to and from the vet, photography, admin. Regular and unglamorous beats occasional and enthusiastic.
Trades and materials
Fencing, shade, plumbing, hauling, a truck on a Saturday. If you build things for a living you are worth a great deal to a place like this.
Partner
Veterinary practices, groomers, trainers, boarding kennels, feed suppliers. Working relationships decide what a rescue can take on.
Land
The largest obstacle by a long way. If you know of acreage in or near Southern California that could work, that conversation moves everything forward.
Adopt
Not yet, because there are no animals in our care. When there are, this is where it will say so.

We Are Not
Asking for Money
There is no donate button on this website and that is deliberate.
Global Linguistic Services is a business, not a registered charity. The rescue and sanctuary work is what we do with our own time and our own money. Taking donations without charitable status would raise questions we would rather not invite, and would leave anyone giving with no tax deduction and no oversight to rely on.
So what we are asking for is time, hands, skills, contacts and space. If that changes — if the sanctuary side is ever set up properly as a nonprofit — this page will say so plainly.
